We've been working hard, continuing to make improvements with Shopify 2.
The much requested feature, Partial Refunds, is now available in Shopify 2. No longer do you need to cancel an order to process a refund. Once you've captured funds, a refund will appear, allowing you to choose to refund some or all of the order.
We've improved variant editing by allowing for quick inline editing of label, price and quantity. You can still edit other variant options by clicking on the edit link. We've already seen positive feedback on Twitter, which is always good to see!
Other updates:
- Clear Formatting added to rich text editor
- Added links to view newly created product on site and to quickly add another product
- Improved view for editing/ordering products within a collection using a list view instead of a grid view.
- Clearer call to action for adding products to a collection
- Can now add multiple custom fulfillments (feature parity with Classic)
- Clicking a tag suggestion already added will remove the tag
- Improved UX with modal dialogs:
- Esc or clicking outside modal closes dialog
- Tabbing through controls stays within dialog
- Can process forms in modals using the Enter key
- Fixed product sorting on collections
- Fixed accuracy issues on dashboard
- Fixed issue with missing line items on Orders
- Fixed blog commenting filtering for Approved/Unapproved
- Lots of bug fixes and performance fixes
Expected in the next two weeks:
- Adding total order weight to the order screen
- Show customer IP address when location is flagged in risk analysis
We're continuing to polish features, fix bugs, and address edge cases.
Thank you,
Jonathan.
